he Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has called on President John Dramani Mahama to make the welfare of workers a top priority as he begins his tenure as President of Ghana.
In a statement signed by JUSAG President Samuel Afotey Otu, the Association congratulated President Mahama on his historic inauguration and expressed optimism about his leadership.
The statement highlighted the significance of the President’s inauguration, describing it as a pivotal moment in Ghana’s democratic journey. JUSAG noted that the confidence Ghanaians have placed in President Mahama is a testament to his ability to overcome challenges and deliver on his mandate in ways that future generations will celebrate.
As representatives of judicial service staff, JUSAG emphasized the importance of worker welfare, urging the new administration to address the needs of employees in the public sector to ensure productivity and job satisfaction.
The Association expressed its readiness to collaborate with the government to achieve this goal, stating that workers’ welfare is critical to national development.
President Mahama officially assumed office after being sworn in as Ghana’s fourth President under the Fourth Republic, following his victory in the 2024 elections.
